Shining The Light for Climate Justice

Dayenu, a jewish climate organization, has recently launched a campaign called A Time to Build. Under this campaign we are organizing a candle lighting ceremony during Hanukkah in order to ground and center the jewish climate movement. This event will light eight candles with different intentions and goals and push our leaders to commit to promises previously made under legislation such as the Inflation Reduction Act. Different speakers, from climate activists to politicians and spiritual leaders, will each light a candle and speak about what it represents.
