Sunday, Oct. 9: Canvassing in Madison, WI
Join us for an in-person canvass to turn out Wisconsin voters, as part of the Interfaith Congregation Canvassing Project!
Hosted by Dayenu, Wisconsin Interfaith Voter Engagement Campaign (WIVEC), League of Women Voters, Madison Dayenu Circle, and UW Jewish Students for Climate Justice.
Live in Wisconsin? Join this exciting opportunity to promote voter engagement in Dane County! The Madison Dayenu Circle is partnering with the Wisconsin Interfaith Voter Engagement Campaign to get trained in non-partisan voter registration and “Get Out the Vote” canvassing. We will then canvass together in pairs in low voter turnout neighborhoods, as identified by the League of Women Voters. Canvassing will build awareness of the November 8th general election and assist voters in how to
register, find their polling place, make a plan to vote, and find out who is on their ballot.
There are two Canvassing Days: Thursday Sept. 29, 2022 from 4:00-7:00 pm and Sunday Oct. 9, 2022 from 1:30-4:30 pm. Canvassers will meet at Lake Edge United Church, then divide into pairs to begin canvassing that day.
RSVP below to join for the Oct. 9 Canvass.
Please note: To participate, you need to attend one of the Virtual Training Sessions led by the League of Women Voters of Dane County. Virtual Training Sessions were held on Sept. 21 and Sept. 22 from 7:00-8:30 pm. If you missed these trainings, please mail Cynthia Hirsch at [email protected] (Dayenu) or Betsy Abramson at [email protected] (WIVEC) to receive a recording of the training!
