Interfaith Hanukkah Candle Lighting for Climate Action
Through educational, action-oriented, fun, and meaningful activities and experiences in a family-friendly atmosphere, this event seeks to highlight fresh ideas, ongoing climate action, and opportunities that are beginning to flow into
the twin states (NH and VT) through the Inflation Reduction Act.
Each candle symbolically lit on our Hanukkiyah will honor an organization or group of people who are advancing climate action and advocating for climate justice, including elected officials, interfaith clergy, higher education representatives, youth climate activists, and environmental leaders in various fields from around the Upper Valley.
With special guests Congresswoman Becca Balint (VT), State Representative Laurel Stavis (NH), State Representative Jim Masland (Thetford VT), and State Senator Dick McCormack (VT Windsor District).
Please join us to celebrate their contributions and learn more about where we go from here!
This event is free and open to the public.
